After 30 years, our ship has sailed; we are retiring!

Dear Patients,
I am so grateful to have had a wonderful career at Ballard Women’s Health. I feel honored and privileged to have been your healthcare provider. After more than 32 wonderful years, Dr. Wilber and I have decided to retire and will be closing our practice. Our last day seeing patients will be December 16, 2025. The relationships we have developed will be cherished and we are appreciative of the trust and confidence you have placed in us over the years.
Unfortunately, it has become increasingly difficult to sustain a small, independent medical practice. Rising operational costs and stagnant insurance reimbursements have made it challenging for small offices like ours to remain viable in a system that increasingly favors large healthcare networks. I truly believe the era of private, personalized practice is fading, and I feel honored to have been part of it for so long.

Your medical records remain confidential and securely stored electronically. Our staff can transfer your records to a provider of your choice via secure email. Alternatively, you may access your records by opening an account (free of charge) with Patient Ally - we will send you an email inviting you to register and link, confidentially, to your health records – It works similar to MyChart. You would be able to share these results with your new provider. To help maintain continuity of care, we encourage you to establish care with another provider soon.

We recommend the following practices:
   •    Swedish Ballard Women’s Health — 5350 Tallman Ave NW | 425-678-9524
   •    UW Women’s Health / Ballard — 1455 Leary Way NW, Suite 200 | 206-668-6644
   •    Meridian Women’s Health (now part of UW Women’s Health) — Appointments available via MyChart or online scheduling
   •    Optum OB/GYN (previously The PolyClinic) — 904 7th Ave, Seattle | 206-860-4541
   •    Northwest Women’s Healthcare — 1101 Madison St, Suite 1150 | 206-386-3400

I will miss the warmth and sense of community that our small, boutique practice has fostered. Thank you for your loyalty, kindness, and trust over the years — it has truly been a joy to care for you. I wish you continued health and happiness in the years ahead.

For patients who would like to continue to see me for aesthetic services, I will be operating out of Vixen Magnolia, please call to make an appointment (206) 281 - 9399.

With gratitude,

Peter Brandon, MD  and  Ellen Wilber, MD
