WELL WOMAN EXAMS
An appointment with a medical professional to review general health and prevention. Well woman exams usually include a breast exam, pelvic exam with PAP smear and possible HPV testing or STI screening.
STI/STD TESTING & TREATMENT
We offer testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B & C, and Trichomoniasis.
TREATMENT FOR ABNORMAL PAPS
Colposcopic evaluation (visual examination of the cervix under magnification with possible small biopsies), LEEP Procedures (Loop electrocautery excision procedure) to remove the area of moderate to high-grade abnormalities on the cervix, and PAPs with HPV genotyping are offered. These procedures are all performed in the office and are well tolerated with minimal downtime.
CONTRACEPTION
We offer consultations to discuss contraceptive options, including IUD's (Mirena, Kyleena, Skyla, Liletta, Paragard/Copper-T), oral contraceptives, NuvaRing, Nexplanon, and permanent contraception.
IRREGULAR BLEEDING / PCOS / FERTILITY CONCERNS
Full evaluation for irregular menstruation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and other endocrine disorders that can affect fertility.
EVALUATION & TREATMENT FOR HEAVY PERIODS
25% of all women suffer from heavy menstruation. We offer diagnostic and treatment strategies including hormonal therapy, the use of progesterone containing IUDs, office endometrial ablation (permanent treatment) with Minerva, Novasure or HerOption technologies.
